Hi Curapa,

How do you know that they are not looking at your YP ad and then visiting your website?

Are you absolutely sure they are not finding you from the YP?

I know nothing about this but I hear there are some people that reduce or cancel their YP ads so I am interested in how you arrived at this decision.

Thanks.

PS.

One thing you might want to do is make sure your domain admin contact address (ie. the address in your whois record) is the same as your Google Local Business Center address and register your domain for at least 5 years.

This is a good indicator that your address is reliable and the business is stable.

If you get an address (PO box etc.) try and get it in a location that is in the geometric center of the city/town for which you want to rank highest in Google Local.

I am guessing about this but if there is a PO box outlet that allows you to specify 'suite 237' instead of 'PO Box 237' that is better even better if there are real businesses also located in that address so Google does not see a lot of 'mobile' businesses at a single address.

There are a few other things you can do to rank highly in Google Local on the blogs I mentioned.

Just a thought.
