Log into your host and select the domain to forward and forward it. You can mask it and add keywords, content tags for more seo.

Hosted where? What platform (MS or a Linux variant)
MS has to be done on the IIS console & good luck getting it done if you are on a shared server - contact the hosting service
Linux - simple HTA file at the root of your web site
There is a spot in Google where you can state that you want them to either consider your site as www. your company name . com or simply as your company name .com - I think that was in the Google Tools area

Cloaking/Masking is a good way to get 31'd 999'd or completly banned from google.

Most black hat SEO techniques work great for a few months, then google catches on a drops the site from the index all together. Then you have to start all over again. Better to just be patient and push forward for rankings. Good news for most of the people on this site is your not really in all that competitive of markets for SE rank. Providing you throw in your area (city, state, etc) as keywords.

I didn't know masking was a nono. I know it's available, but didn't know it was bad.

Re: 301 Redirect

You can use any of these specific codes in your files.

301 redirect is supported by most of all files either it be on a MS or Linux server.

*I CANNOT POST A LINK*
www (dot) webconfs (dot) com/how-to-redirect-a-webpage.php

I myself use .htacess as I own Cpanel/Linux servers.
