Hi Brian...
for your interest - check this page www.platre.com They are French...translate...Right now they have distributors in usa......In my current project guys doing 'vieujo' walls...they just start yesterday, I'm waiting for finals results....I saw on 'platre' page, there are materials for exterior...and remember you....

howabout using a high flow grout with a foam core?

euclid, sika, basf all have high flow grouts that flow like water. all will be in excess of 10,000 psi compressive strength.
