Selling The Dwelling

Here is a rather interesting book that showcases the evolution of plan or pattern books that helped build America.

Enjoy !

Re: Selling The Dwelling

I saw a book used by a local carpenter back in the late 1800s. Details for stairs, attic stairs, and so on.

This book probably would lead me down the rabbit hole of the old pattern and plan books, but it's a great idea.

Re: Selling The Dwelling

I may have to check this out. I looked over the page and the book have over 600 illustrations is a lot. I don't know if I actually own a book that has this many. Thanks for the share. Added it to my cart so I don't forget about it.
