16,000 pounds of dust? I would tell them this is why I'm draping off the area. Kind of an extreme example though, most people understand construction work involves noise. Dust should be kept to a minimum regardless.

Well I told them this is why you're moving 100% of your stuff out for 3 months

Get a hepa air cleaner and USE IT! We just gutted an 8x8 bathroom with out wearing masks and it really great not having a nose full of dirt when you get home.

Even a box fan with a furnace filter on the front makes a big difference for $20

Re: For You That Run Their Own Bathroom Remodeling &/ Kitchen Remodeling Company

just had a conversation with an associate yesterday (he's in construction product sales)
we were talking about all the jokers starting a contracting business cause all the money and work that is out there, most of them don't have a clue, they come in and low ball projects and all that good stuff, I"m loosing more work to low ballers right now than I can shake a stick at, which I dont' get and irritates me btw

but the scary part is my buddy saw this happening big time right before the bust in 2008

so the moral of the story, the bust is coming hold onto your pants, the new guys are already helping push prices down, anyone legit will be out of business soon
