You Have A 200' X 200' Building.. How Would You Fill It?

For some of you guys that wouldn't cut it.. but for us smaller companies it is a lil daydream thread.

What would you fill your shop with? Supporting equipment for your company.. or just wants.

You have a blank check and a warehouse. How would you fill it?

I would dedicate one section of the warehouse to parking of my vehicles and pits and lifts for their maintenance.

I would have wood racks with stock for any job I would need, complete with different sizes of smart, pvc trim and siding..

I would have an area dedicated to just repair of tools.

I would have a dust collection system for any cuts I would need to make at the warehouse.

I would also have a dedicated paint booth set up for any type of paint.. w/ a media blasting capability.

I would try to collect as much power as I could from solar and wind generators. AND have biweekly BBQ's for employees to grub as they picked up their check

please economy pick up..

Re: You Have A 200' X 200' Building.. How Would You Fill It?

I do need a table saw, thinkin the bosch with the stand - although with unlimited funds, maybe a stationary general or larger saw with the sliding table etc. and that fein multimaster! a ford F350 pickup diesel - good lighting, and a great ventilation system- Storage for materials! there's never enough of that!

a paint spray booth (every one wants their crown painted!!!!) maybe one of those tall tradesman vans that I see around so I can get 16' material inside.

large screen tv (behind glass) with an internet hookup - so I can research tools! LOL

and definitely a heater!!!!!!!! sheesh it was cold last winter!

I'd retire and move to Greece. Fill the warehouse with all my old crap and buy new crap.

LOL - sorry this isn't in keeping with the 'gist' of the OP - had to say it tho.

Re: You Have A 200' X 200' Building.. How Would You Fill It?

I think we should consider the fact that 40 thousand feet with no money concerns is a great time for community service.

Why not offer free day care on one side of the building. Let's make it available for single mothers, they need it more than anyone else. What agreat way to give back. Not many will argue that it is less than honorable cause .

Then in the other half offer job training and employment oppotunities for the single mothers. They will be close to their children and learning and working. Sounds like a win win.

So we need a business for the skilled and entry level employees. Something profitable enough to spread the wealth down to the young up and comers.

Sounds like a great opportunity to get the greater community involved too. A place where they can drop by and make donations as they see fit. Everyone has an active roll. True community spirit.

I'm thinking a high class strip club.

Any other ideas? Let's brainstorm.
