Always nice I guess not to many guys get tipped by their clients judging by the replies. Or maybe scared the IRS monitors the site.

Re: Xmas Gifts From Customers??? Tips?

Some of my installers have been tipped by the customers. Usually $25 or $50.
Last year one customer gave my guy $300.00 cash because he was so pleased. Then he stopped payment on his cheque to me. No explanation. I wound up taking him to court, put a judgement on his house, forced a sale, and got my money. (and interest and expenses and legals)
He never showed in court, never entered a defence, never answered my calls, never gave me an explanation.
Go figure.

I got a nice Christmas card with a $25 gift card for a local golf store from my final customers of '06. It was a nice gesture from a great client.
