Question

Work Needed Checklist


can anyone provide me with a checklist form for work and quotes needed for new construction, from beginning to end (sitework to final walk thru). this will be used to make sure i have all quotes from subs and to have as a breakdown for finance institutions. thanks for your help.

You should have got that in the contractor starter kit when they showed you the secret handshake, if not contact your sponsor.




I think you could get that from some books but it varies from job to job and I use estimate sheets that I made my self for different job types when bidding and experience the rest. I think most here will just rib, if not flame, someone with only 1 post looking for that "I can be my own contractor type of question"

A sheet with all your services and extras singled out line itemed, down one side of the page. On the right side, 3 columns. The first, the cost for that item. The second column, is how many of that item. The third, those two multiplied. On the bottom, the amounts in the right/3rd column added up.

Pretty easy and basic, and gets you there.

My helper bought me one of those giant pencils from a carnival or something ...my pencil is usually a nub - barely long enough to hold.
