Willie T's Donation Fund - Help A Fellow Contractor Out!
As a lot of you know, one of our longtime, well respected members Willie T, had a stroke and will be recovering in the hospital for at least month and doing rehabilitation for even longer. So, as requested by many, we are going to set up a couple of way's for anyone that want's to donate, can. Donate whatever you can afford ,whether it's $10 or $500 it doesn't matter. Every little bit can help relieve any financial pressure that bills can cause.
This is the latest message from Bill's wife: Quote:
If you wish to donate by check, Private message me Sir Mixalot and I will Pm you the address that you can send your donation check to. Note: If you have more then 250 post's, you can go to the P&R section and see all of the donation info there.

Re: Willie T's Donation Fund - Help A Fellow Contractor Out!
This just in from Willie :
They gave me another hour on the computer this morning; I'll bet you I'll be able to get in a full 17 words today! Of course the first thing is is to send you all a huge "Thank You!". I don't think you'll ever know what a blessing you all have been to me during this time. And, I don't think it will come as any surprise that Robie is right up at the top of the list. And I also want to thank all the guys who offered their support of time and money in getting my house all set up to come home to. The chair seems PERFECT, Robie! Thanks a million. No side arms are necessary... they got that crossed-up when they talked to my wife. And to you guys who offered to buy and install the grab bars... another million thanks! I elected to go with a local contractor I've worked with in the past. You know, keeping it all in one basket, so-to-speak, in case there were complications or changes to be made in the future. So everything is all done and complete now. Sue invited some neighbors over to see the installation, and they were blown-away by the magnitude of it. Sounds like half my bathroom is bars now. On the medical part...... My memory seems to be highly taxed now. It is very difficut to organize thoughts anymore. Speech sucks, of course, but it is coming back. Poor Sue has to look directly at my mouth to follow what I'm saying. Reading and concentration are still problematic. Balance - my biggest problem - is returning little by little. But I would still fall flat on my face if it were not for "spotters" on both sides of me. The food here is great. It really is. Only problem is that they keep on screwing-up the menu orders. Oh well. I've been introduced to a lot of new foods I might never have tried otherwise. Every single one of the staff is top-shelf. I couldn't ask for better or friendlier care. Time is getting short on this compter session, so I guess I'd best close. Should be home around the middle of next week... about the 9th or 10th. That will make nearly a full month I've been here. It drained a substantial portion of our financial reserves, but thank God we had the money to spend. We could be looking at tons of bills, but we aren't. Later, Brothers and Sisters. Please share this at "CT". Bill (Forgive the spelling. No spell checker on this machine.) _________________ "Religion is unbelief. It is a concern of...godless man." Karl Barth |
