Can not STAND it.
I say leave the clocks where they are and switch to a 24:00 hr format and be done with it!

Up here it wouldn't make a difference either way. It's dark when I go to work and dark when I get home. I guess daylight savings time allows us sunshine until 5:00 pm as opposed to 4:00 pm in the winter. For me it makes no difference. I had no idea it would affect you guys more southern. Kinda funny, had my cousins from Fort Wayne who were up here in July (last year) and they couldn't believe we had sunshine til 11:00 pm. I've been up North in Manitoba and in the summer it's sunlight basically all the time. Depends where you live, obviously!!!

Fantastic link, Teetorbilt. Whether you find DST an irritation or not, it works to save valuable energy resources, which helps deal with one of the biggest struggles this country faces right now - fossil fuel costs and eventual shortages.
