Where Is Your Favorite Lunch Spot?

I had lunch at a river side cafe today.
Russian river just north of Cloverdale CA. 40 minutes from the house.
Nice place, plenty of parking, not crowded but the service is not that great.

It was nice to get out and have some fun today. We all need to force ourselves to get out and do something once in a while. It is too easy to just work and worry about work and the flippin economy. Go play, have fun.

What do you guys do to blow off the steam? Got pictures?

Gus, I like to golf, not just get out and play, I like hitting balls, putting chipping, working on my course managment, only taking my irons out to play a round, just trying to master a game that only a few have.

I cant stand to spend 4 hours on the course though, that kills me!!

I worked at a dealership back in college. We had a special place for lunch...(looked like your pic, but with a jeep in the water instead of kayaks). It was just a couple miles from the shop.

Sometimes though, we would come back a little too 'lunchy'

To blow off steam...and to get away...and anytime else I can fit it in...fishing. First pic is 25# King Salmon from Alaska last year and second pic is a 42.4# flathead fron the Ohilo River last year. Here is a link to some pics from fishing in Spain from a couple of years ago. Try and guess the weights! http://www.fishenbum.com/gallery.html

Holy catfish man!

Either those are some really big fish or you are like the smallest guy I ever saw. Which is it?

Maybe a little of both.
Before we guess the weight of your girl friend, Tell us how tall you are.

Elephant poop, go figure! Left a real bad taste in my mouth. I've never been able to bring myself to crawl up an elephants rear end since.

Re: Where Is Your Favorite Lunch Spot?

I'm 5'7". The pics from the link are of Wels catfish. Those are of 3 differnt fish 116#, 133#, and 172# and they were not noodled. Damn strong fish...I would not want to put my arm in there mouth...they could break it. All were caught with rod/reel fishing from the bank. I need to get back over there before too long.
