What's The Best Truck Security You've Ever Seen?

The post about someones boxes getting broken into got me wondering about my own and now I think I'll be upgrading my security, especially for while working, when the truck might get left open or unlocked, that seems to be when mine walk away the most.

I'm curious what you guys do for security or what's the best security you've ever seen or heard about.

Yeah my dog is on the site with me or in the truck almost all the time. And she growls/barks at anyone that gets near the truck. Other than that a good 22 pistol to shoot someone in the leg with when they take tools works well too.

My dog Goliath was stolen by my second wife. I had him about 10 years, from a pup. Not only did he watch the truck but he kept a good eye on about everything, even my women.

I do have two 115lb Rott's. Maybe I should send them out in the trucks.

How about an illegal with an AK-47?
I have been pretty lucky onsite, we look out for each other here. A while back, someone took my van. I'd like to see that happen again! No comment on current security.

A painter I know has a pet alligator... not on his truck but I think that would be a good thing to chain to a tool box.

Robert, not a good thing to post. Gators are still 'endangered' although they are handing out more hunting permits than will be used. Your gov't at work.

I was thinking about getting an alarm with a pin switch on every door, box, canopy, ect...I've seen one that calls your cell when the alarm goes off. They have ones with radar and all sorts of stuff.

I want one that blasts them with a 12 guage when they open the box. I think that would be the most effective.
