MI law: Contracted construction services, labor, materials, or a combination of those, with a value of $600 or more, must have and be prepared to show a license. New law implemented last year, continued education in field, plus must have a current code book at address of business.

Work around. If hired by the hour, strictly labor, then no license required. Homeowner must provide materials, supervision and permits if applicable.

Hmmm, what would be more helpful for my business? Maybe customers paying their invoices in a timely matter. If I get payed what i am do then i can get whatever the business needs for improvements.
