I received this RFQ from a rehab/roofing contractor this morning:




Chimney on old Chicago bungalow needs to be repaired. This is a rehab in 60634. Cash. Yes, that means I am not looking to spend a crazy amount of money especially given the economy and the amount of labor I have to choose from.

Given the fact that people are staying in their homes and having them fixed up instead of buying new, I, like many other contractors, can pick and choose the projects we want to pursue. Your project is way too small & unprofitable(I pay taxes, etc.,) for me to quote. Good luck with your project
