Waterproof OSB???

Always used plywood instead of OSB.
Had a friend tell me there is a waterproof OSB that sort of green colored.
And about same price as plywood. So more expensive than the cheap OSB.

Any info????

thanks

http://www.zipsystem.com/

It's not water proof, but many of the framers here, including myself have used it.

It's called the Zip System by Huber who makes Advantech. Green is Zip Wall, red is Zip Roof. It uses ice and water on the seams to "waterproof" it for a few months.

That's just a general overview of the product.

Here's my project if you are interested.

I know off the top of my head that WallMaxx, LoneFramer, and TimUhler have used it and showed using it on here in some threads.
