Wall Tiles Over Wall Tiles?
I have a situation where glazed wall tiles would be dificult to remove without damaging the wall. This is a strip below kitchen cabinets and granite counter top. I need to install new tiles there. Is there a way to install new ones on the top of the old? What kind of adhesive to use if so? How to matt them?
thanks |

Re: Wall Tiles Over Wall Tiles?
Damaging the wall is inevitable. Technically you can tile over wall tile but like Chris Rock says...You could even drive with your feet if you wanted to...that don't make it a good ****** idea.
For guys in the trade that give a damn about their work, nobody could tile over wall tile with a good conscience. Removing the tile is a breeze. A little bit of patchwork and you're set. There's the easy way...and then there's the right way. Good luck. |
