Update To The Steps Thread

Well, I got them finished.

And as another update: I told you last time my daughter had scoliosis. Well, we decided to check the others. I have 3 children with it even though hers is the worst. So, we'll just wait and see how it all ends up.

Here's faceless me and the steps as I was working on them...

Have you considered chiropractic. I know of some people who have gotten relief.
On a different note, we can't do open risers on exterior stairs in our area. 4" max. open space.

I've usually put riser boards in.

Normally, I'd have to have a railing with 4" max. open space, (it's right above that 3' mark) but I flew this one in under the radar.

I was procrastinating doing this, and just glad it's done. I'm waiting to do the wheelchair ramp till spring. It's a newly built home in Reynoldsville.

As far as the kids, they have appointments at the orthopedic specialist.

Everybody wants to be a comedian. I hope you're still painting during the day. Otherwise, you must be getting awfully hungry.

Re: Update To The Steps Thread

Those are the kind of jobs that are the most rewarding. I've been reading the Ramp-a-thon threads and have been totally impressed by the workmanship and generousity of those involved. Put in a letter to the Paralyzed Veterans, seeing if we could start something like that here. Being a disabled vet (80%) myself, I thought I'd start with them. You have my admiration and I truly wish the best for your children.

Nooooo.

The pit bull will lay
under there nicely and without
the risers he can bite and rip
ankles without having to go around.
Much better scenario.

On a serious note I wish the best for your kids.

Behr would be the best choice for that.

No, I only use that on sinks and tubs. I would use Dutch Boy on a fridge.
