Seems like it runs in about 8 year cycles. So we have about 5 or 6 years on the upswing coming. Call me an optimist, but if I wasn't, I would have to switch professions.

That graph isn't worth a crap. Four year cycles is what it is showing.
Except for a standstill the end of last year and through the winter, work here has been going non-stop even with all the rain we have had this year. Right now I am at "normal" work levels comparable to before 2007.

Look at how after a low it crests much higher than where it fell from. 2014 will be the best year ever!!!!! With all of us learning to deal with the very lows we are in the best shape for the highs. Make it through this and everything else will be a walk in the park.
