Trying To Beat The Weather...

Well folks, just checked the 14 day forecast for my area and it look like the weather is really going to start working against me

And to top it off, its calling for rain/snow almost everyone of those 14 days It just figures, I've got a 400 sq. ft. deck I have to finish and 2 more pergolas booked to do.

Time to break out the gloves (I hate wearing gloves, by the way!), touque and longjohns!

No "Florida" comments from you either Teetor!

Re: Trying To Beat The Weather...

Terry, I have some 36X36 Carhart bib overalls that sound like they may be perfect for you. Let's make a deal!

Went to the airshow today in a T-shirt, shorts and Key West Keds and was still a little warm. Perfect blue skies allowed you to see all of the low pressure vapors off of the wings as the F-16's, F-15's and A10's went through their paces. We happened to be in the VIP section, front row/center. The food was excellent and the beer was cold, special jiffy - john trailer too. Almost like being at home but #2 doesn't cook that well.

Now about those Carhart's........LOL

I can be SO cruel.

Re: Trying To Beat The Weather...

They say we might get snow here on tuesday I am supposed to be finishing up a deck on tuesday hopefully I can finish it before the weather moves in. But I dont have to board up my windows all hurricane season so I will deal with a little snow here and there.

Ohh… Be a man.

When I was your age…..
I would put down composite decking with a screw driver, one handed! While the other hand was fighting off wolves and lions. The weather, if it was a good day it was only freezing rain. I would have to carry the material to the jobsite bare foot, uphill both ways against a hurricane and snow tornados with lightning.
