Why would you be considering this?

Cast iron or steel?

Re: Tile Adhesive

I've never heard of doing that, and I don't think you can.
I don't know why you would want to.
But I know you should not use epoxy with glass tile,UV degradation.

Re: Tile Adhesive

3M spray adhesive.

When finished use some of that spray on scotch guard stuff, turns out real purty.

Re: Tile Adhesive

don't know if this will help but here it goes. we have used latex thinset for tile over tile. i think that this will be your best bet. reg thin set will not cure due to the solid surface of the tub.

I always use mastic but bubblegum smells better. I love glass mosaic.

Re: Tile Adhesive

If you really want a for sure answer you need to ask yourself "What would the Home Depot employee advice be on this" They always seem to be able to give the best advice and tell you it will work in situations like this.

Re: Tile Adhesive

Why is this question in the general discussion?

If you don't know the answer, you shouldn't be doing the tiling.
