Take The ContractorTalk.com Survey - It's Short And Will Help Us Improve The Site

Hey guys,

This is a REALLY quick survey and it would be great if you would take a few minutes and complete it. It's only 5 questions.

CLICK HERE TO TAKE THE SURVEY

I'm trying to figure out ways to improve the site. I've been working on a number of improvements but I want to make sure I'm focusing on the right things and also to get your ideas on other ways to improve things.

There is no tracking on this survey so please be honest. And don't worry... I can take it

Thanks

Two minutes at most, not bad at all.

What's the promo code for the free avatar?

When you finish the survey you are directed to "Survey monkey" or something like that, they want you to sign up to create your own survey.

Lame since I have to pay for that service. They should send you back here. Lame.

I agree, you pay and they get to run a full page ad for free!

I was kidding about the coupon for the free avatar.

How long before you implement
the "more dancing girls" suggestion?

Re: Take The ContractorTalk.com Survey - It's Short And Will Help Us Improve The Site

Three HUGE benefits of the Dirt Diggler Sub-Forum:

1) it would keep me out of the General Discussion and Business threads - thus eliminating nonsensical interjections that I am (by own admittance) guilty of on Saturday nights

2) it would allow for members who have a post count higher than 100 to join in topics that you just won't find in the Gen. Discussion - albeit, still maintaining a contractortalk theme

3) it would distract me from entering into the P&R Section

oh - and a nice bonus - it would be the perfect housing for Dougchips' cooking tips

Took the survey. As far as I can see, there is nothing I would change. Guess I am old fashioned, I like things simple and straight froward.

That would be great. We need a recipe section. My girlfriend looked over my shoulder one night as I posted on CT and said:
This is like Martha Stewart for guys!"
She doesn't get it.
That's okay, I don't like the Yarn Barn site either.

gets better my friend

Proposed Categories Within the Dirt Diggler Sub-Forum

1) Concrete CounterTop Discussion & Pics

(home to the future NCCAF - National Concrete CounterTops Awards Festival)

2) TOP SECRET: Guide To Square Foot Pricing of Just About Anything You Can Build!!! (requires 100 posts)

3) Food & Beverage Section - goes without saying

4) Westerns. This section is a discussion about Westerns and nothing else

5) Construction Trends and Innovation in the 21st Century - THIS is where we actually get serious and share some really innovative ideas

6) Project Efficiency. Discussions revolve around saving time & money on a project WHILE maintaining HIGHER quality

7) Hot MILF Clients. Share everything from your latest rendezvous - to lowly cheap thrill seekings

*Bonus - Includes sub-sub forum It Ain't Just the Charm: How to Land Jobs with MILFs

8) Jobsite Humor. Cmon ... let's hear about those times you saw a porta john tip over when someone was in it.

9) Back to Business Section. This is where, as the name implies, we get back to business. It's a great buffer zone for entering the more serious and dramatically detrimental "General Discussion" forum area.

10) Celebrity Contractors. Know of a celebrity who used to be a carpenter? Or a stone mason? Here's where we talk about that
