Spell Check For Firefox Users
Internet Explorer: If you are using Internet Explorer you need to download the following: IESPELL
Once you download this and install it you can click on the button on the upper right of the message box and it will spell check your post.Firefox Users: I've found a spell check program for you guys. Step 1: open this page in Firefox and press the install button: http://spellbound.sourceforge.net/install Step 2: Download a dictionary here: http://dictionaries.mozdev.org/installation.html To Use: highlight the text you want to check and right click on it. This will bring up an spell check option. Let me know if you need help. Thanks.

"After clicking install you must wait for the Installation Results page which will inform you whether the installation was successful or not." The "Installation Results page" just never shows, and it says not to click on anything till it does |

Re: Spell Check For Firefox Users
Sometimes your built in pop up window blocker in Firefox will stop it from loading. If this happens there is usually a bar that appears right over the page and if you click on it you can allow pop ups for that site.
Check this page out for help: http://spellbound.sourceforge.net/faq#q301 Did that fix the problem?

Re: Spell Check For Firefox UsersQuote:
I usually keep the dictionary tool up in the corner, but this is easier I noticed with Thunderbird it doesn't work Of course, Thunderbird has it's own spell check so that's what it's supposed to do I'm sure ...just playing around with it... I try and keep FF pretty lean, but this is a good extention Thanks for the tip Nathan |

Re: Spell Check For Firefox Users
Just a heads-up
I upgraded to FF 1.5 and it disabled spellbound as non-compatible I also tried AllSpell from the Mozilla site, that won't work either (maybe it's me, but I d-led & installed it twice) If anyone finds a spell check that works with FF 1.5, could you post it please? Thanks! |

Re: Spell Check For Firefox Users
Good news for all you Firefox fans (including me
Firefox 2.0 will have spell check out of the box. More details here: http://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox2/Sta...ne_Spell_Check The alpha version of the browser will be coming out later this week followed by Betas and Release Candidates. So, we have a little while to wait but its good to see that they are making these improvements.

Re: Spell Check For Firefox Users
The last time I tried to load a spell checker on here, it crashed my browser.
Wiped out my bookmarks and whatnot. This latest version of FF is giving me a hard time. |

You found a compatable one? Wait...I guess you didn't...lol... If I remember correctly, I may have re-installed this "upgrade" (1.5.0.1) Maybe it was the previous version though But the pop-up upgrade link did not work I went to the site to d-load the new version Did you try re-installing it?
