Space Heaters

I need to know if anyone has had experience in space heaters in screen porches? My customer has asked for some type of heater for the screen porch he wants me to build. There are several options available. Electric, natural gas and propane. I am concerned about heat buildup since he wants a vinyl ceiling to avoid maintenance.
Any thoughts?

Re: Space Heaters

In electric two options are:

1). Baseboard heat
2). Plug-in heater with an outlet

Both have thermostats. I might lean toward the plug-in heater if the baseboard heater might get wet. You could keep the baseboard heater against the house. The baseboard heater is silent where the plug-in heater has a fan that might be irritating with quiet conversation. I've used both to heat areas the size of a 2-car garage.

He really wants a ceiling mounted heater to dispense the heat accross the area better. Any thoughts?
