Re: So, Who Is Working Monday The 25th?

Wasn't planning on working because my help was sick over the holiday.

Went to the shop. Picked out 10 Dremel 1/2" & 1/4" drums, put 1 each on a mandrel and into a small storage container in my Dremel box. Filled up the Dremel cut off disc holder with 25 new discs. Sharpened the 3 chisels so they are razors now. Tried out the new 16ga nailer. Went to HD and picked up some 2 1/2", 2", 1 3/4" and 1 1/2" nails. Went home and had lunch. Back to the shop and had to cut up the carrying case so I could store some nails in the Bostich box.

Got bored so I went over to the house I'm working at and setup for tomorrow. Got 4 window sills cut, scribed and installed. Cut the jambs to length for the 5 windows (one double window). Vacuumed up and went home.

But that's not on Christmas, day after.

Yup, we got 10 days of below freezing coming to haunt us. Night time temps near or below zero. My kid in NY will see several nights below zero.

Yeah...colder tomorrow. It really wasn't terrible today because the wind was pretty calm. Should really only be in it for a couple weeks...you know, probably just long enough for it to warm up when we are done.

Re: So, Who Is Working Monday The 25th?

Took today off to clear out some blackberries from the upper pasture. Just a bit more and I can finally run the fence. Didn't work too hard at it.

Tomorrow will be back to full speed. Morning, early afternoon at one job and evenings, nights at the second job. Hopefully I can find some candles with 4 ends.

Iím taking Groundhog Day and Talk Like a Pirate Day off this year. I usually take Casimir Pulaski Day as well, but there was a scheduling conflict this year.
