Re: So, Who Is Working Monday The 25th?

On my agenda -

Taking my 8 year old and nephew, brother and dad to Armed Forces Bowl Saturday 23rd in Dallas. I boycotted NFL this year so excited to see the game

Hosting Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at my house for both of our families, probably 40 people Plus.

Tuesday I'm taking my nephew from Houston hunting for deer and pigs, I've had my eye on a pretty good buck for him

Wednesday I'm taking my other nephew hunting deer at another lease

Friday a group of our friends (3 couples) are coming over and I am going to try to smoke a prime rib, first try at it.

Donerightwyo killed a 200 lbs razor back and we mounted it when he came down. It was on a high fence ranch though

All is a strong statement. LOL

Really depends on timing, it took me and dunright Wyoming a year-and-a-half to get on the same page schedule-wise, and then I was concerned that the pigs would not be there as they are on a routine. So I booked a hunt on a high fence Ranch which is not cheap.

Re: So, Who Is Working Monday The 25th?

The last 7 years we take the week. Only ended up working 1 year that a project went sideways and we got started 3 months later than planned. Guys all get paid and year end bonuses so no complaints. It makes a huge difference to get some family time. We have a ton of work starting the new year.

I'm actually off for 2 weeks this year. First time since I started working at 12. Headed to Florida with the wife to visit family. Then were flying somewhere to spend a week doing something. I'm excited to be able to just pick somewhere and go. I've canceled our last 3 vacations because we're so busy.

Doing some bathroom work today for a lady who is out of town today until Jan. 10.

Good thing too, because when her Pit Bull (Tucker) is home I never get anything done. He's the most lovable/spoiled dog on earth and demands his play time with the repair man toy.

yup. Slave labor. work long hours, no pay, accept whatever they feel like feeding you. And no hope for change.

Man, I want to have your troubles!

Looks like will be taking the week off now due to the weather. Zero or below most of the week.

Re: So, Who Is Working Monday The 25th?

Wifey got 8 lobster tails from Costco for the 4 of us. Actually 3-1/4 of us as she only nibbles. 2 lbs of butter on hand, to insure maximum saturation before ingestion.
French toast & bacon first for breakfast, Cavs and Warriors next, Monday Night Football Double header and finish it off with the crustaceans. Martinelli's sparkling cider and Modelo Negro to wash it all down.

Re: So, Who Is Working Monday The 25th?

Snow for Christmas day. Had to snowblow the driveway and walk. Gave the neighborhood a gift by doing their walks. Did the neighbors driveway since he moved out but still owns the house.

Unpaid work.
