First i am far from being a racist... But is it just me or is every freakin thing always a race issue... who care what color you are, i dont care if your blue or green, if you did something wrong you pay the price... period..
No the issue in Mass. about the WHITE police officer arresting a BLACK proffessor for acting like a fool.. im sure most of you here have heard the story. its all over CNN, FOX, etc... and then our freakin President Obama, opens his mouth and calls the cops stupid and racist... what a dumb thing to say, Oh and ofcourse the BLACK proffessor is the presidents Friend...
I mean theres all these specials on TV, BLACK IN AMERICA, BLACK BEAUTY PAGENTS, etc.... i mean god for bid we had a white only music awards show.... geez could you imagine the reaction the world would give.. I think they should do
a special on WHITE CONSTRUCTION WORKERS IN AMERICA.. Now that would be interesting....

I agree with you. We had a similar conversation at the gym last night about this subject. The race card is played way to much. I hate to tell you this but it probably isn't going to get better any time soon. Part of the problem is if there is any possibility of gaining national attention the special interest groups jump all over it. It's how they make their money.

Your seeing and hearing more and more on the BET type stuff you mentioned to. People are starting to comment on it in public forums. What nobody seems to get is there will always be racial tension as long as any race feels they deserve to be treated differently from a society standpoint from other races.

It really isn't much of an exclusive club and before anyone starts badmouthing the rules, they are there for reason. It is amazing the people that show up and offer nothing to the community as a whole and head straight for the P&R. Do nothing but stir up trouble and eventually get shown the door.

It appears that professor acted like a fool, (BLACK /WHITE/ GREEN OR BLUE) When the man tells you to comply, you comply.......The details would have been worked out and they probably would have laughed about it.. BUT NOOOOOOO, the proff had to be a dick. And the funny thing is, the cop was protecting the proffs house, he should have been thanking him....G

The white police officer that was doing his job and investigationg a possible brak in, that was accused of racial profiling, is a racial profiling expert, he teaches police officers how it is wrong to do racial profiling and teaches them how to make sure they aren't treating people of different races, ethnic background or socio economic backgrounds different because of that, he teaches fellow police officers to treat everyone the same.

He also in 1993 tried to save some basketball player's life by administering CPR, unfortunately the guy died, I think his name was Michael Lewis a black basket ball player.

It seems as though the professor picked the wrong guy to accuse of being a racist and one of the professors neighbors backed up the police officers side of the story.

It was nice of Obama to stick his foot in his mouth on the issue and show the people of the US how he really thinks.

The person who made the "stupid" comment wasn't actually President Obama who said it, it was the community organizer Barack Obama who said it. He went and made a complete fool of himself and his approval numbers will sink because of it. Prof Gates also said some crap like, "I'll come down there and talk your mama" or something along those lines. Judge people by their character, not the color of their skin. No one should be treated better or worse because of the color of their skin, nor should you ever taunt police who are trying to investigate a possible crime like burglary. This story makes me sick.
