Smoke & Fire Restoration Info

In disaster recovery services, what steps/processes are used to clean up smoke, char, and soot?

Is this a labor-intensive process? Any room for error (pretty sure call backs),

How long does it usually take? (eg. Sq.ft & man hrs)

Just trying to get to info.

Might have better answers at www.cleaningtalk.com

I do a fair amount of fire work (rewiring). Soda blasting or sealing with Kilz is what I observe, mostly. This appears to be somewhat labor intensive, but performed by unskilled or barely skilled workers.
