Slow Work In Hampton Roads For Residential

I've been in business for almost 6 years now and have been doing fine in residential. Work is starting to slow down almost to a complete holt because of the economy crisis. Im trying to shift from doing all residential work to commercial build outs. Anybody got any leads on sub work in my field in my area

Re: Slow Work In Hampton Roads For Residential

In the current state of the economy, most are slow. Now if your area has almost no residential work, don't you think anyone that knows of work is going to jump all over it? That being said, why would anyone give away a lead for that work?

How about a jump to the Introductions and tell everyone who you are and what you do before asking for anyone to give work away that most need.

Hello world! Let me begin by apologizing to all who i have offended by being straight to the point. Im just starting out in this networking thing. See, for the longest time i did not have to have general conversations with thousands of people at a time. Im a "hammer and nails" type of guy, you know. This computer thing is really brand new to me. So forgive me for
not knowing how it works. Thanks for the guidance. What else do you know good? What does this site do for you? Anything good?

Welcome to the site.

Let me know how the commercial work goes. I have been trying to get my foot in the door for about 6 months now. Still no luck.

Welcome.

How's the government work going there ? I understand there is massive gov't / defense dollars at work in your area. Can you get in on it ? I hope so.

i haven't heard about any "massive " government spending, but i have run accross a couple of neighborhood developments that are selling homes to military families through government grants.
