Skim Coat Concrete
Last fall I had to pour some concrete to level off a side walk to a retail business. due to the colder temps I just leveled it and now I need to make it look nice. The depth is from 1/2" to 1"
Here's what I'm using Polymer modified concrete resurfacing mix I also a have bonding additive My question is... Do I need a concrete set accelerator?? I only have about a 4 hour window before light traffic |

Re: Skim Coat Concrete
Couldn't you just parge it with some ready-mix until you've got it where you want it?
We used to do that all the time after wall pours to get the honeycombs out, worked great and we were able to adjust the acceleration/retardation ourselves. Just a thought.
