I think you should keep your day job and stay AWAY from photography. Their isn't a pic without a tree, power line,or light in it.

I think someone needs to do something about that window.

Re: Siding Job On Historic House

Somebody took out the support wall and added a kitchen in each unit. When I looked at it, there were 4" gaps in the siding. Look closely. Somebody has put 2-4" sidng in there.
Did you read the commentary on the album page too?

I went to look at another, but can't find the pictures. The windows in the rear were shattering. Every 6 months, doors on the inside had to be taper cut because they were jamming up. All their paperwork was being stored on the second fllor, over the non supported area.
It was a functioning doctors office in Petersburg. I convinved them to cease operations and evacuate that area of the building. They closed it permanantly after my visit. Even the modern part.

They had called about a recurring roof leak. The first clue was a brand new 4" crown molding below the built-in gutters. It had shattered about 3' from each end of the building! Most windows on the rear were broken as the frames compressed.

Around here, we are not allowed to put modern siding on any HISTORIC building.

That was my thought. I refused to work on it. Somebody else did. There is a more detailed explanation in the album itself.
