Re: Scrap Metal

yeah........we've got a lot of junk metal that a guy comes a gets about once every 3 months.......he is now even taking oil filters and batteries....weird, they want everything, don't they. I suppose the lead in the batteries? Wasn't that long ago, you had to pay to dispose of batteries.

Re: Scrap Metal

Who would have thought an $18 dollar roll of 12/2 w/ground would be over a $100 now? Steel prices have doubled or more then doubled...rebar is nearly $6 for #3 unless bought in the bundle.

It's soon gonna pay more to scrap the old copper then to install the new.

Re: Scrap Metal

Ron, do you know of a place in our area? I've been looking to get rid of the posts and cross pieces for a chain link fence I took down a few months ago and don't want to pay to dump it.

Thanks!

There's a place in south Oshawa. I forget the name and location but I'm sure they're in the Yellow Pages. Sorry, not much help.
