Scored 7/16 Osb For $13.08

Lowes had 5% off, then 10% off if you buy over 64 sheets and a 10% off mailer. Lumber yard quoted me over $18/sheet. Thats a $1200 bonus for me (230 sheets).

Nice score...

Did you use your corporate VAR account to get the additional 5%?

No, its available to everyone on their website. Their regular price is 17.05 so the price probably came down a little at my LY too.

i find it hard to get discounts at lowes.
i buy a lot of material at home depot, and the guy who works the pro desk discounts a lot depending on how much mark up an item has.

Pricing is very regional as well. $18.85 here

Hurricanes really drive up the price of these sheet goods. 15/32 cdx 3 ply pine (garbage imo) was almost $25

I had to re-deck a small roof section the other day. I got 19/32 sub floor (osb) for a little over $21 because $19 for 7/16" osb is almost a crime

Here is some OSB that saw a little too much moisture

That doesn't look too bad. Just shingle over it.

Did you charge your customer 18 bucks plus mark up?
