S.o.t

Now many of you understand what that is with all my weird ancrynoms. But pretty much every post ive made everyone went tottaly off topic, and then arguements start, and disses, etc. Isn't this forum supposed to be helpful?

Well no one will ever know, cause this is what happens when you put people from differnt regions together. Chaos.

So can i raise the peace flag???

Re: S.o.t

OK I went through all the posts you started

http://www.contractortalk.com/f11/caulking-60501/
You got a few good answers. Enough to get you on your way. Your question was answered before any OT talk started.

http://www.contractortalk.com/f11/im...i-guess-60542/
You had an incident at work and decided to tell us about it. You asked if anyone else had an accident worse, no one really answered
but it really wasn't a business related question either, it was a personal interest question.

http://www.contractortalk.com/f11/embarrased-60670/
Same thing with this post, you asked a personal type question. This one was more business related. But you set yourself up. You did substandard work and she sued you. If you were really expecting us to tell you are screw ups without some jabs at your screw up, you are in the wrong place.

http://www.contractortalk.com/f11/crazy-ho-60706/
More of the same. You had a bad experience with a HO and you want us to tell us our bad experiences. For someone that has been in business for 20 years you don't seem to have a gut feeling about anything. You should have walked away from this guy as soon as he said asbestos. Especially if you do not have the proper credentials to remove hazardous materials.

http://www.contractortalk.com/f11/shingling-60756/
You were getting the answers you were looking for until you made the wise ass comment about stapling the underlayment when your original questions was about the shingles.

http://www.contractortalk.com/f11/i-...e-these-60766/
This was a fun thread from the beginning. You started the thread out by talking about t-shirts. This was bound to get off target.

http://www.contractortalk.com/f11/we...tractor-60783/
You started out on a weird thread, what did you expect. No question, just a comment by you. If you were more specific you might have gotten some useful info from it. But you didn't ask a question, you made a comment.

http://www.contractortalk.com/f11/wa...athroom-60758/
You asked how to remove hardwood floor in a bathroom. Come on, you should know how if you have been in business for 20 years. This is basic basic construction 101 type stuff. What did you expect?

-----------------------

So, from what I can get from it is you have really brought this on yourself. You start up topics that you ask no questions, you want us to bear our business souls to you and we only see that you have made some pretty bad mistakes. You demand that we stay on topic when your topics are really off topic to begin with. The two threads you got answers to, you asked real questions and got real answers.

If you haven't figured it out by now, this is a place we come to, to get answers, to talk with our fellow contractors and to have a good time when things have been answered. If you can't handle it maybe you just don't fit in. If you could loosen up a bit you might have your questions answered AND have a good time at the same time. Imagine that. Good answers, good times, good people. All you have to do is stop being so critical of something that has been, and will be the same whether or not you are here to enjoy it or not. It is up to you.
