Room And Board For Long Distance Installations
how does a contractor show room and board on his invoice to best convey the cost savings to the client instead of having employees drive daily to and from distant jobsites; alternately, can I bill for employees time to travel to and from site? what is the category heading of this portion of the invoice?

Re: Room And Board For Long Distance Installations
I would not show this in your Invoice but have it built into your price of the project
unless you are doing this as a T&M job then that will open another whole can of worms here. |

Re: Room And Board For Long Distance Installations
Dang it has been a while since I did anything I had to stay out of town, but I might spell this wrong so... per dium LOL that ain't spelled right, is it???
Basically it is a per day for room and board, including meals. This save them on the additional fuel charge, and seat time charge.
