Resolved Contract Disputes

Hi Guys.
I'm in my construction documents and contracts class working for my bachelors degree in construction management.
Tonight we have to find a contract dispute and do a write up on it.
So.
I'm asking if any of you can provide me with a dispute you have had in the past that was resolved through court. It doesn't matter if you won or lost as long as it got resolved.
All I have to do is identify all parties and describe the dispute, also state how it was resolved and if I agree with it.
Maybe if there was a bit of humor involved it would make for an entertaining assignment.

Thanks for your input!

Re: Resolved Contract Disputes

Bid job. Job okayed. Perform job. Can't get paid phone calls not answered. Threaten to lien. Lien. Lien bluff called (Got one phone call "Did you file that lien yet? - snicker). File small claims action. Serve papers and send certified mail. Wait for six months. Defendant failed to respond - win default judgement. File for writ of garnishment remembering handily that defendant said he worked for the fire dept. once. Collect checks for two months until debt is paid off.
