REScheck
I'm doing a REScheck for an addition I'm working on. I'm usung Andersen 400 series windows and french doors. Andersen website is telling me the french doors have a ufactor of .32,Rescheck is telling me that this is no good.
![]() ![]() ![]() . I do not understand why an Andersen 400 would not be sufficent!!! What gives?

Re: REScheck
Are you failing on 'u-factor' or 'SHGC'. We had problems until we moved to a tinted window.

Re: REScheck
I'm failing on U-value. Double check me. 6/0x6/8 = 39.6 ft2. REScheck rounds it to 40. The u value from andersens site is .33. So REScheck tells me my UA is 13, and the max is 5. Can this be right?

Re: REScheck
Mike,
I double checked you on the door, REScheck returns a UA of 13. What type of wall and floor construction are you using? Mike Mont Vista Homes |

Re: REScheck
When you plug in the rest of the construction envelope, what UA does REScheck return?

Re: REScheck
Email me your project file, if you want. You can delete the project info, if you like. I might be able to help.
