Remodeling Question...

ok so my neighboor is a freelance contractor, he redid my bathroom, here is what he did...
redid the shower, green board, dry wall, etc... plumbing for shower, put new drywall on ceiling above shower, retiled shower, put new knobs on and shower head, new shower doors, he retiled my floor aswell, he used interceramic tiles in the shower and vitromex tiles on the floor 13x13 i told him i want all the cheapest stuff that will look decent because im just gonna sell my house anyways, so. it took him 2 weeks, and a week before he started it, his tree fell on my shed in the backyard so i told him you dont have to replace my shed just give me a discount on my bathroom, his original quote was $2250.00 now he says its $2461.00 is he trying to rip me off, i dont know the going rate of freelance contractors, i mean he doesnt even advertise, he isnt with a company or anything, can you guys help me out? on that it usually costs thanks sooo much!
