Quickbooks Time Tracker

Was just working on Pro 2006 and saw a pop up ad for their time tracker feature. Basically it is timesheets available online, for 7.00 a month. The pitch is that is makes it accessible to either the administrator 24/7 , so at the end of the day, or on the job site, you can whip out your handy dandy laptop and login and track the guys time. Or the guys can login with their own ID and limited capability to put their own time in from home. Then the timesheets are downloaded right into quickbooks. I don't have any use for this, but thought maybe others may be interested. How many of your guys turn in their sheets on Friday and are filling out the entire week by memory!

Only the ones that don't work for us anymore. They fill them out daily or they get filled out by the foreman for them. Third time the foreman fills out a time sheet for someone, they get a severance check.

Re: Quickbooks Time Tracker

Ive never used quickbooks timetracker.

I have had experience with others though. it really comes down to what your doing.

If your gonna use it yourself for project management it may be handy. It may be also handy for tracking your employees times etc, but beware, it may be easy for them to lie and add time, or even subtract.

It really comes down to how u want to use it.
