Do you suppose that may vary by region?

Re: Question On Average Size ????

yeah. it does vary. he's from the northeast(from earlier posts) so 20% is a good number for him to work with.
davinci- you could pm me if you have any further questions. my scope is limited to siding and windows so anything to do with either, just shoot me a pm.

Re: Question On Average Size ????

Just take the time to find a "average plan" for your area and do a take-off. After that you will have an idea on how much there is. Then you can adjust for differences for any plan.

in your takeoff, include the roof pitch, overhangs and the number of valleys and the flashing required for chimneys for a typical home.

If you are just trying to get general answers, you will only get opinions.
