==> Question About License...

Thanks in advance for anyone who can answer this. I've been doing flips for years and was smart enough over the years to have the work logged for credit. So now I'm finally making the move to get the license but I would like to ask anyone of you who may know, how much credit does one receive toward "practical" time as a contractor in CA if they were a business major? In other words, we're apparently supposed to recieve 2 years for a 4 year univerity bachelor's degree. When I call, they say it's UP TO 2 years. It is stated on their website that a 4 year degree from a university is worth 2 years of credit toward the 4 years total one needs to apply and obtain a contractor's license. So which is it? Is it on a case to case basis? Is it 0 credit for some people depending on the person you had working on your application? I'm about to send everything in but would like an answer to that because I may just include my transcripts for the heck of it, just to make sure I'm good to go. If I do get an additional 2 years toward "practical training" or "practical use" then it may be worth sending those transcripts in. Again, my question is "do I get a full 2 years of credit toward the 4 total with a 4 year degree in business" or "do I maybe get 1 year or a half a year or whatever that person processing my application deems my transcripts worthy of?" Thanks!

Re: ==> Question About License...

What does it matter? It is what it is.

Go and apply and find out.

If you don't have enough, now you know. If you want to try to appeal, then you have the info and the right to.

None of us can tell you anything about your case. You have to go to the horses mouth.
