Prevailing Wage Work

It looks like you need to have an affirmative action and an equal opportunity plan to do this kind of work. Does anyone know how much that costs or if it is worth it? We are looking into this kind of work, but it looks like a lot of paperwork and headaches.

Re: Prevailing Wage Work

Just contact your local county and ask them for a prevailing wage list. It's is alot of paper work and head ache. We've done one. However the installers love 'em! Event he apprentices need to be paid journeyman wages if you don't have an officially recognized apprenticeship program. Screw up on your certified payroll lists and you have big problems man.

Or you could do like most guys around here and just sub out the work to someone who doesn't know any better and slap a 4 page document in their face. They will sign it without reading 99% of the time and in that document it will say they they are supposed to pay prevailing wage. Idoubt if any illegals even know what PW is. Save yourself a ton of money and buy a yacht screwing the system! It's the American way... I'm sarcastic if you didn't know.
