You are looking at the edge
of the shower door cutting across
the bathroom door.
It does however look like a
pocket door latch set on a
swinging door?

Working on this in the shop... Still have to stain and finish, but the basic build is complete.

Re: Post A Picture Of Your Current Job.

Looks like a vanity, but because all the drawers work I must be wrong. What are you using for hardware? Blum undermounts and Euro hinges? Looks like Mahogany or similar. Hard to tell with the off WB in the photo. Only thing that turns me off is th 1" styles and rails. Too thin IMHO. Looks good, what's going on for a stain and clear?

Re: Post A Picture Of Your Current Job.

Wow... you're fast, Leo.... I snapped the pictures with my cell phone, thanks for clearing it up... What software did you use to do it?

It's a kitchen island...It's a slightly tweaked version of one they found in a magazine.. The stile and rail dimensions weren't up to me, I had to make it the same as what they had in their photo...

Oh, stain to match their dining room table, and I usually clear with MagnaMax. I made this piece with Alder at the customers request. I always use Blum hardware... Soft close on everything too...

Re: Post A Picture Of Your Current Job.

Cool. I used Paint Shop Pro to get the color corrected. Just put it into the color balance area and moved the slider until I thought it looked right. About 10 seconds to fix.

I use the blum undermounts myself but use Grass hinges. I also use MagnaMax. It is what I learned on. I got myself a Kremlin Spray unit so now I will start to use more Krystal. But first I am going to try the new MagnaKlear which is suppose to be a pre cat conversion varnish. Be sure to post finished pictures before and after it is installed. We all like pictures here.

You are 1/2 right.
It is not a bi fold.
The locking mechanism does not latch but simply slide into the door jamb
No door knob and no problem locking the door.

We installed that Toto system on a master bath we recently finished.

I visqueened the bowl and sat on the thing to test it out.... It's pretty unreal...

Heats the wash water (two different wash positions)

Heats the air that dries you...

Heats the seat...

Make fun of it all you want... but if I had one of those in my bath at home I'd never get off the seat.

Can't wait to see it Gene

I finally got some time in on my kitchen project today. I've been tinkering around with the Cabinet faces and doors for a while now at our shop. Just got some installed today along with counter tops (maple) and edging.
