When I saw it on the other monitor
I could tell it was shadows.
But I'm still at a loss for what your
plan is for foundations.
Post and pier?

C'mon fill us in, I can read Agatha Christie

Re: Post A Picture Of Your Current Job.

There is a septic line running down the center of the area underneath the room.
We cannot install footings within 5' of any septic component.

The Rim Joist ends are sitting on the home's foundation. Then we are installing 12" Sono's mid span under the rim joists. Two "BF-28- Big Foot footings" are going under the outside corners.

The room is just temp. supported up, like a deck = Mystery over.

i kinda figured it was going to be piers and now we know why. Would it not had been easier and faster to dig and pour them first?
when we temp prop a deck like that the footings are still done first but then wait till last to slip the post in.

Re: Post A Picture Of Your Current Job.

Here is the wall of cabinets I was working on last week. I got it delivered and Mark got most of it installed. Today he wasn't there and Jack and Todd were working on it. I even gave them a hand in installing some molding. My measurements were right on and Mark did a great job getting everything aligned properly with the 2 windows. Here is the CAD drawing I used to build it.

And here is the real thing

A couple of the pilasters

The middle layers of the pilasters, under cap molding, bead/cove separator, upside down undercrown with a 1/4 bead layered underneath.

For the crown I used a molding that I rarely use. I didn't like it back then but it has been growing on me lately. on top of that is a router made cove attached to the plywood top. It hangs down 1/16" for a shadow box effect.

The restaurant is on south 19th in Kagy village, horrible location, its italian, its for a business called Capers? They do catering too. The vacation home is outside craig about 12 miles. (craig is commonly known as a quant drinking town with a fishing problem, 3 bars and a fishing store) you should see the people that come talk to use while we are working. This is at the end of the road, 2 track, drive through a 20ft wide 2 ft deep creek and people drive out just to see the new place goin in. Most have about 9 teeth, 5 in there mouth and 4 in their pocket, and they always are carrying a beer.....seriously

Leo, that's gorgeous!
The look is a lot like maple on this screen.
Is that the effect in person?

Dude, Maple??? You need to get your screen calibrated. No, it looks similar to Mahogany, just darker than natural Mahogany.

Here are some pics of a job we start yesterday. It’s a three phase job. First is the deck and frenchwood doors. Second are the kitchen and some minor interior work. Last are two dormers on the front of the house.

Complete gut of an 1870 victorian semi. I have been asked to do the audio, security and some other things.. Hopefully lighting too!

They are stripping everything out, including the floor joists. Everything is right down to the brick.

Don't worry Chris, I gave them your name too

Hmm, the pictures of the gutted inside doesn't seem to wanna upload..
