It is all good malco.

Like I said Leo and I have chatted enough here and by PM to have a foundation that can handle a little bit of raz. Heck thats about 95% of the conversations.
This comment cut to the point though. And like I explained to him in a PM is that I like him enough to lend a helping hand.
I feel strongly one way and I have been struggling to get him to see my point of view. If not to get him to profit from it but maybe get home to his family at a reasonable hour without sacrificing anything.
I do believe I have some things to add in those regards. It will happen if it is meant to be.
It's all good

Re: Post A Picture Of Your Current Job.

I see your point of view Gus, really I do. I just haven't had the good experiences you have had with the outsourcing. I always seemed to get screwed (timewise). It is just part of my curse. I have yellow light syndrome. When I drive I hit an unbelievable amount of yellow lights. I even have people comment on how many I hit when they drive with me. I have this same problem with outsourcing. What I really need is to have a helper in my shop, or that sweet CNC machine you have. We are getting there. I am finally coming out of cheap mode and spending some money on things that will speed up my operations. Getting some new lights and getting rid of those HPS orange POS lights, got a new Kremlin 10.14 which will speed up finishing process, a lot. Next in line is some sort of a sander. I want a widebelt, but might settle for a drum. Space and cash will make that decision for me. I'll get there, you keep pushing. It'll help.

Here is a couple before and after shots from one of my most recent projects.

I cleared the land, took out that old shed, stripped the topsoil and tossed it in the corner out of the way. Next a whole bunch of fill will be brought in to bring it up to grade and get it ready to build on.

Same property but this area I just thinned and cleaned up. One picture from out the back window of the machine after I crawled into the end of the area to be thinned. And the other is from the same spot after I was done.

I try to use it when I can...its a very stable, portable vise. That's about all.

I like it too but I have to come up with new thinking to develop new ways to incorporate it into my daily tasks.

The guys at the lodge asked if I could help them with a quick easel the other day... I really don't do anything simply... so i designed and built a square and compass easel, able to hold a 65lb granite slab... I think it's freakin cool myself. I was sketching a chair along similar lines today....Post a picture of your current job.-img_2605.jpg

NAILERS for the wide casing

But seriously, they probably had to close down the opening for the new door, i usually will not stack more than 3. if the space is greater i would frame it in, leaving a narrow bay. No harm however, just a few extra studs. G

Leave a stud bay and insulate it.

5 jacks like that would just leave a nice place for cold air to get in.
