That's actually the trim paint. My big butt had a hard time reaching back there.I should have finished all the painting before the toilet was set.

Just set scissor trusses over the old roof, after the engineer had me install footings and beams under the walls to hold the weight.

They are hiding behind the bushes.

At the top of that gable, is that the end of the ridge vent I see peeking out? I usually stop mine a foot or two short of the edge. Not criticizing; just seeing different strokes.

Looks good!

No ridge vent on the steel roof, it is the end of the ridge cap, I like to let the metal ridge hang over a touch.

You must be pooped after your little adventure last weekend and then all this.
Where is the picture of all that rubble cleaned up?

This one was 99% finished when I started that stupid stair job. Just a few pieces of trim were left to put on. I've been on this one for a month or so.

But I did carry up and set all those trusses myself in a day.

I'm pretty sure I posted a couple finished pics in the 'I'm an Idiot' thread.

A roof I just finished up. I just like the way the roofing looks with the cedar trim and stainless metal nice combo.
