Portable Light Tower Boss Lighting Deal or Not
Im about to pickup 2 Boss Portable Light Towers, 1 with 4700 hrs and 1 with 5600 hrs. Condition seems to be fair.
About how much should i expect to pay for these? Right now 3500 with the guy for both units. It would be for resale, have no use for it.

If they have a kubota diesel thats not bad at all, Ive been wanting a small kubota engine and cant seem to find one at a decent price, like 3k for a used engine. The biggest problem I would see is not many people would want one so selling it may be hard to do but Id say you got a deal. My guess would be atleast $2500 each if they work good.

The rule of resale is this: The profit is not made in the sale but in the purchase. Buy it right and you can sell it right.
If you can not "steal" it, then DO NOT buy it.

Sounds strange, but is indeed a fact. Buy it right and you cant loose. I dont want a deal, anybody can get a deal. Steal it and give someone else a deal.

No!!!!! You have to "steal" it in the purchase price! No vaseline.
Everybody wants a "deal". If you get a "deal" then there is no "deal" left in the resale.
You must "steal" it in your purchase to be able to pass on the "deal".
As far as these lights are concerned.....There is no "Money left on the table" between you and the original seller and therefore there is no Money for you to pick-up in the resale. (or not much)
Buy ANYTHING. ANYTHING AT ALL!!!!!!!! At a steal price and you will, no matter what it is, be able to resell it "right".
Widgets to John Deere Tractors to Alligator Tanning Equipment. It will all sell at the "right price".

That is NOT a "steal" price. It is, depending on the condition, a decent price.
If you were buying them for your own personal use, then yes, a good price. But this is a profit motivated purchase.
As I said earlier. There is probably money to be made here but not the sort of money that I would chase.
I shop eBay all the time. I will only be the final bidder if price is ridiculously low.

Gotcha , although this isnt an ebay items. Generally, you cannot resell items bought on ebay, you do get a deal, but just not enough for resale in my experience. Ive recently got into a side business of selling construction equipment, (small engines) that has been doing fairwell knock on wood. i mean, its not like im moving stuff everyweek, but i do get the ocasional sale, made a few hundred. basically, it makes me some extra weekend money. I still have my focus on my main business. Just last week i sold 2 pieces of equipment and profit $500 out of the deal.
