Once upon a time, a guy wasn't
a grown-up 'til he could tie a tie.
Four-in-hand, Windsor, bow-tie
(for your tux!), and Ascot (for
full morning suit).
Most women can do it backwards.
When it was time to teach my son,
I had to stand behind him and look
in the mirror.
I think he can only do a Windsor.

The tool list is way off. "framing hammer" come on, most guys only have a regular hammer. And no "Cresent" or "adjustable" wrench? Whatever,

even my mother in law has a "Cresent wrench"

They put these two back to back:

18. Remove bloodstains from fabric
19. Move heavy stuff

Found a couple of typos:

15. Use a sewing machine
29. Use a French knife
31. Iron a shirt

Re: Popular Mechanics - 100 DIY Skills Every Man Should Know

Sounds like a metrosexual's list maybe. Sew a button? Use a sewing machine? What kind of fag wrote that list? Where was read a friggin' map? How about how to find your way out of the woods if you get mis-oriented? Or how about, taking out an intruder with nothing but a pencil? Popular Mechanics has just dropped to the women's magazine level for me.
