Online Appointment Booking?

How many of you are allowing/asking your customers to book their own appointments? How is it working? What problems have you ran into? What program are you using?

Just to be clear though, not an email request to be followed up, an actual timeslot booked without you knowing.

Re: Online Appointment Booking?

I started it a couple of weeks ago, go to my site to check it out.
Too soon to tell. You still need to call and confirm and qualify, I would not just go out when someone books.
Book an appointment with me and see how it works.

google apps has a way to show others time slots you have open if you use their google calender... it's all free, but i never looked too deeply into it

microsoft office has a way to do it to into your outlook calender, but again... don't have too much info

the people i know that have similar programs paid a few grand for them, but they do alot more......

I tried.

"I just wanted to see how it worked on your site.

So, can you travel back in time and meet that appointment schedule?

The job is yours if you beat the Craig's list guy by 10%

Okay, the software recognized that it was April 1st and we have passed that up. Thats good.

Try midnight tonight. Error. Try tom"

Still got an error message for tomorrow morning at 9:00 am and I ran out of room in the message box, as you can see.

Re: Online Appointment Booking?

Ed, I have appointments open from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
I have Saturday and Sunday blocked out and if you wanted to meet at 9am tomorrow you should be able to get that slot. It removes holidays and does not double book. I'll check my settings which are easy to adjust.
Cost is $9 a month.

Oh, one more thing Ed, it's $75 for an estimate, but I'll refund it from the job when you sign up. LOL!
