OMG! This Is Painful!

Fall protection is a good idea, at least when the roof is wet.

Re: OMG! This Is Painful!

reason i ask is because i was doing that thursday, i couldnt get at the shingles from inside the basket so i set the basket on the edge of the roof and had it behind me to keep me from sliding down

Nope, not when you are outside of the basket. It does work pretty good though.

Re: OMG! This Is Painful!

I wont get on a wet roof. I will get on a 12:12 or steeper with my cougar paws and cushions without toe boards. I bought good cushions, not out of a couch. They only keep you from sliding on asphalt shingle though.

Re: OMG! This Is Painful!

the siding job on the building was just as bad as the roofing patch. it looks like certainteed fibre cement siding... at eye level it looks like crap, further up it looks like they used a super soaker from the ground to caulk it to the corners and windows.
