generally, any time i run into plumbing that involves hose clamps ... i assume it's either a HO ... or a hack

slick, I was thinking the same thing! I don't see an embarassed smilie. We have numeruous 6 gangs plugged into duplexes. At least I keep track of the draw and am careful not to overload although the entertainment center can come close when ramped up. It is soon destined for it's own circuit and not just because of amps.

Those are awesome. I love the radiant heat idea with the old car radiator!
That was my favourite of all those. I wonder if that would actually work...

Ask the cat.

When your clients call with a possible leak under the slab on the hot water side, always ask where the cat has been sleeping lately. More often than not, the kitty has already found the leak, or at least found the warm spot.
